Feminismsimsmsms

There is a massive movement of men and women sweeping across not only the nation, but the entire world itself. This is a movement that is fighting, not violently, but instead peacefully for their cause. Feminism is a female rights and equality movement that basically has millions of women and even men, supporting it's ideals for its purpose. For thousands of years, women have been mistreated and put on a low level because of the fact that they are simply females. All over the world women are fighting to have the same rights as men. In many areas of the world, women are treated merely like objects to satisfy the wants of males and their thoughts of how a woman should fit into society. In many cultures they have little to no rights in any way, shape, or form. Unlike in many parts of the world, in western societies, women have become much stronger.  In countries such as the United States, the government has granted woman's suffrage, no discrimination in the workplace, equality when it comes to employment and wages, and many even have political power. This idea is extremely radical to many nations in which the women are made only to serve, and not have their independence. Through the eyes of an average man, he might say he doesn't care what the women does. Through the eyes of a man that was raised in a culture that gives women no freedoms or rights whatsoever, he might say it is preposterous for them to fight for their liberties.
The power that men have on the psychological health of women can be dangerous. Many women rely on their male counterparts for acceptance. Feminists ideas are revolved around drifting  away from the the way it has been for thousands of years. They now do not "need" men.
"Nature intended women to be our slaves..they are our property..what a mad idea to demand equality for women!"-Napoleon In Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe, women are treated as the man want to treat them. They have no rights or freedoms, and they are treated as sub-humans, or objects to them. I will go into more detail and explain the way this book subjugate women,

Singularity

This article about singularity and the changes we could very well face in the near future had some very interesting concepts. Technology is a rapidly changing essential that is being relied upon in every day to day tasks. Not only is it something that continues to progress, it continues to progress, faster every time, "Computers are getting faster. Everybody knows that. Also, computers are getting faster faster." As we begin to advance into very advanced fors if machines and Artificial intelligence, the human might as well begin to be obsolete. Computers have been known to create music since the mid 1960's. I believe that there are somethings that computers should not be making. Music being one of them. Music is something that comes from your heart and soul, not from your hard-drive.s said earlier, technology is about to start progressing very fast as we develop  more sophisticated forms of it. Man-kind might very well have to merge with it if it is to survive. Although i believe there are many ups and downs to this concept, we may well have to merge in order to sustain the human race. Like in the article, "we could become super intelligent cyborgs", or the very same A.I we create as technology inevitably expands, could also turn against us and annihilate us. If it is safe to say this is going to happen, man merging with machine, there will some time where the machine will grow far more powerful than the human can ever be, and will make us, the humans, work for the benefit of technology. Relating to Brave New World, in the story the main purpose of the people are to serve the machines that help create them and make them "happy". In the end, I ask myself, can we really create something that is smarter than us? If so, how do we do that if  we don't have the brain power to think smarter than us?
